Scarpa Phantom 8000 Thermic HD Mountaineering Boots – Triple Layer Boots

Triple layer mountaineering boots for Antarctica, Denali, Everest, any summit over 6000meters SIZE 41. Paid $1400 (before tax). Worn about 24 hours on Mount Baker to test them. They are super comfortable but are at least a size too large for me. I wear women shoe size 8.5. I need size 40. Waterproof thanks to YKK® zipper and heat-sealed reflective tape for protection. THERMIC SYSTEM Integrated to the gaiter and insole a thermal system (weighing 160g) that contains: A power switch to 3 modes (16 hours - 8 hours - 4 hours). Two Power banks with connector and charging cable to be placed in the pocket provided. A pair of additional heated insoles, covered in microfiber to increase comfort and durability. SHELL Shell 8000 INSOLE Carbon Tech 3 SL, made of three layers: the first one in pierced EVA for maximum comfort, the second in Aerogel® for maximum heat insulation and the third layer has a carbon fiber for maximum stability and lightness. LACING The external closure features a water-repellent zip with a heat-sealed tape. The internal closure is based on the Fast Lock System, an advanced toe lacing configuration divided into two sections. The lower section, equipped with eyelets, enables quick lace sliding and precise volume adjustment. The locking slider secures the fit and separates the two tension zones of the lacing. The upper section includes two eyelets designed to wrap around the ankle, ensuring stability without restricting the foot's natural range of motion. The Velcro Fast Strap simplifies opening and closing of the shell, ensuring precise adjustment and optimal support. SOLE Gravity Lite with Newflex for maximum weight saving. Compatible with automatic crampons. REMOVABLE LINER ALTITUDE 8000: Removable bootie composed of several layers that provide maximum thermal insulation in small volumes. To facilitate the fit double-pull tab, while the closure is made of Velcro. On the outside, the elastic material ensures wrapping and the Reflex tape maximum visibility. The insulated and durable bottom allows walking in a tent or base camp.
